Mrs. Phaeng, a talented weaver from Sam Neua District in Houaphan Province. Mrs. Phaeng works with a group of six women who excel at the chok and kit techniques and bring the complex patterns to life. The silk fibres used in the weft are hand spun, slightly thicker and absorb colour readily.
