Realist artist Claire Hardy paints textured landscapes, cityscapes, and floral still lifes. While mixing oil paints on canvas, Hardy shapes the forms and uses soft brushes to smooth and refine her composition. By creating different series of works, she experiments “with variations on a theme, painting many different sizes and color palettes.”
