A resident of Phoenix, Arizona, she has taught painting privately from the early 1980s and is known for her still life and figure paintings.
She teaches workshops at the Scottsdale Artists School and is a Senior Docent at the Phoenix Art Museum. She has a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Colorado and has also studied at the Art Students League in Denver and the Scottsdale Artists School.
