Joan Liebowitz, affectionately referred to as the “Artist to the Stars”, is a prominent impressionist artist from New York, celebrated for her ability to depict beauty and balance in her paintings. She describes her talent as spontaneous, a “transference of the passion I feel from beauty, flowers a scene, a mood, to a painting, in watercolors”. Her work has been inspired by her world travels to the French Riviera, Monaco, Paris, London, Scotland, San Diego, Palm Springs, Southern Florida, the Islands, Bermuda and Mexico. Louise Nevelson calls her paintings, “fresh, free-flowing”. Studio publication, Monaco published of her exhibit, “The impressionist quality has been accomplished with a poetic spirit”.
