Amadeus Leitner

Thirteenth-generation “Chimayóso” photographer Amadeus Leitner created traditional Spanish colonial folk art until he received a 35mm film camera in high school. His photographs capture the American Southwest’s varied landscapes, light, and ever-changing skyscapes and pay homage to the beauty that motivated him to become an artist. Leitner is also an architectural photographer, documenting the achievements of top architects and builders in New Mexico.
