Craig Schaffer

Born in 1949, Schaffer received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and his Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He currently maintains studios in Washington, D.C., and Pietrasanta, Italy. His public commissions include work for the Princeton Institute for Advanced Studies, New Jersey; the Mathematical Association of America; Brown Tower Mathematics Building at Ohio State University; Baptist Hospital Desoto in Memphis, Tennessee; the Hualien Cultural Center in Taiwan; the Leo Yassenoff Jewish Community Center in Columbus, Ohio; and the Robins Center for Philanthropy, the Columbus Jewish Foundation, Ohio.
