Husband and wife team Darryl and Karen Arawjo practice the fine art of basketry in eastern Pennsylvania. Using a combination of natural and man-made materials, including split and carved hardwoods and single filament nylon line, they create woven containers of remarkable luminosity. With their combination of traditional and innovative media, the Arawjos create woven vessels whose primary purpose is to achieve excellence in craftsmanship.
