Délio Jasse

An Angolan born artist based in Italy, Delio Jasse uses analog photographic processes, such as cyanotype and his own printing techniques, to establish visual dialogues between found images like passport photos family albums and archives—which he sources from second-hand markets and the internet. Jasse explores the idea of collective memory as well as his own immigrant experience, often exposed to long and complicated bureaucratic situations, where a single stamp or a document is enough of a challenge or threat.
