Don Aggerbeck develops his watercolor landscapes through a process of observation and study. Working in the studio from pencil drawings, photographs, and reference sketches, he builds each painting in stages, refining color, composition, form, and light as the work progresses. “My love and respect for the spirit of nature is my inspiration. Hopefully, my watercolors evoke a similar response in the viewer,” he states.
