Eduardo Cabrer

Rooted in the popular culture of the 1980s and 1990s, Puerto Rican painter Eduardo Cabrer’s art is rife with nostalgia. From simple graphite drawings to acrylic, pastel, tapes, and enamels over steel, each piece speaks to its surroundings, and the contrasting tropical colors and dark lines draw in the viewer. “I am in a constant search for new mediums and ways of combining past experiences with the present techniques to end up with new results,” he says.
