Elizabeth Thompson

Elizabeth Thompson’s paintings are informed by the character, identity, and emotions of specific locations, from the streets of Paris to the mangroves of Florida. Her careful observation of nature is reflected in the meticulously detailed, realist technique that she has refined throughout her career. Although she has painted views from across the world, she is perhaps best known for her depictions of the Everglades, a preserve she has documented for nearly two decades.
