Fredric Booker

After spending 30 years successfully practicing Architecture and being frustrated by the increasing political and financial controls over good design, Fredric began to find new freedom of expression through painting.

Over the years, Fredric developed his own style of painting Americana in the way he saw it in the 1940s and ‘50s … finding timeless elements in his own childhood memories.

Living among the oaks and pines on his ranch in the Tehachapi Mountains in Central California, he finds purity of mind and soul. His watercolor paintings communicate a warm nostalgic image of time in a very complex period of the world.

It is stated that Fredric’s paintings invoke childhood memories and family values, such as love, kindness, joy, and laughter. If this is so, he has achieved the highest degree of success through his fine art.
