Skau is an active member of the Archdale community and is very involved with the Archdale Public Library. “My sculptures are my way of celebrating the rich legacy of patterns and colors of world cultures… Each of my sculptural baskets is different from all others, and that’s the part I love. That’s what engages me as an artist,” says Skau.
