Judy Feldman

A native of Johnson County Missouri, Judy Feldman (with her husband Harry) raised five children prior to beginning her college education in 1987 at Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, MO. She received an undergraduate degree in Art Education.

Upon graduation, Judy accepted a Teaching Graduate Assistantship in the Central Art Department. She was named Outstanding Graduate Student in the Art Department and in the College of Arts and Sciences, was a nominee for the Hemphill Outstanding Graduate Scholar and served on the Graduate Council.

Feldman recently retired from the Art Department at Central Missouri State University where she taught Design, Color Theory, Art for the Elementary Teacher and Art History for fifteen years. She has been selected for inclusion in the eighth and ninth editions of ‘Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers, 2004 and 2005. She has also served as judge of many art shows in the region and has done free-lance calligraphy for individuals, organizations and businesses. Her artwork, using handmade paper with watercolor, has been selected for several juried shows, most notably the ‘Missouri Top-50 Professional Artists’, an Award of Excellence in the ‘Women in the Arts Exhibition’ at the University of Missouri, Illinois.
