Karma is a Singapore born, Thai-Indian visual artist, graphic designer, and educator known for her vividly hypnotic images that invite viewers into meditative visual journeys. Her interdisciplinary work bridges the realms of digital and analog, merging elements of abstraction, surrealism, and a numinous aesthetic to explore femininity, identity, and the dynamic tensions of inner and outer worlds. Drawing from her multidisciplinary training, Karma’s work juxtaposes harmony and contrast, evoking the delicate balance found in nature and life.
Trained in Art Direction & Copywriting at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia and traditional Printmaking at Tagore’s Kala Bhavan Institute of Fine Arts in India, Karma’s practice began in graphic design before expanding into painting & printmaking. She has participated in over 40 exhibitions and multiple international residencies, collaborating with international brands like Vodafone, Freitag, and New Balance.
