Mary Beth Hendrickson

Photographer Mary Beth Hendrickson’s photographs provide a glimpse of the southwestern United States: its landscape, architecture, colors and textures. Two of the works in the exhibition are of the distinctive Joshua tree, a giant member of the lily family indigenous to the Southwest. Known for its grotesque appearance, the Joshua tree speaks to the survival, resilience, and beauty of the desert.
