Photography is a lifelong pursuit for Michael Bartz. Each of his landscape photographs presents a narrative of “adventure, nature, and the quiet beauty found in everyday moments.” Taken during two trips to the United States, his recent photographs explore American landscapes, as seen in Mount Rushmore and Monument Fireworks 2, and a “deep connection between people and places.” Based in Alicante, Spain, Bartz records these landscapes from the perspective of a visiting observer, emphasizing light, color, and atmosphere.
