Sarah Morton

Sarah McRae Morton’s real and imagined portraits of ancestors and historical figures are inspired by “people from her own life, from books and paintings, and from her travels and stories learned.” She aims to “tell stories of people who appear, from the view of a passer-by, to belong to another time, but whose lives and hardships are a testament to modern America.”
