Sharron Antholt

Sharron Antholt was born in California and received her MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. She spent many years in the Indian sub-continent, including 5 years in Nepal. She was a professor of art at Western Washington University from 1996 to 2016 and currently lives in Lummi Island, WA.

Her work has been include in numerous exhibitions in Washington and California as well as many in the Washington, DC area area where she lived and taught for some time. She has also exhibited her work in a number of exhibitions in India. Honors include awards from the Washington, DC Commission on the Arts and Artist Trust, in Seattle. She has received fellowship residencies at the MacDowell Colony, Yaddo and the Virginia Center for Creative Arts.
