Ward Jackson

Abstract artist Ward Jackson was most well-known for his hard-edge geometric paintings on square or diamond canvases. Using only black and white for most of his career, he worked with color in his later years as a nod to his beginnings as a landscape painter. He also kept a parallel career as the archivist for the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York for almost forty years.
