Xan Padron

Xan Padrón is widely known for his “human portraits” of international cities taken of passers-by over a span of two hours. His fascination with time and movement led him to envision street photography differently, “documenting the ecosystem of cities and finding beauty through pause and through the small, collective gestures of daily life.” Padrón learned from his journalist father how to possess “the patience to listen and observe stories,” a sentiment reflected in his images.
