Theodora Kane

Painter and teacher Theodora Kane worked with both oils and watercolors and primarily painted landscapes, with some portraits and still lifes. During World II, she reduced the time she spent painting to work full-time for the British Army mission in the United States. After the war, she enthusiastically returned to art, opening a small studio where she introduced beginning artists to the fundamentals.
